Baseball/Softball registration is ongoing at the Rec Center. Registration fee is $60 with a February 10th deadline. Please make sure you fill in all requested information and as always a birth certificate and proof of insurance are required.

THE NEW "NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED" SIGNS AT BOTH ENTRANCES TO THE RECREATION CENTER. ANYONE CAUGHT BRINGING ALCOHOL ONTO THE PROPERTY COULD FACE A $500 FINE AND OR 30 DAYS IN JAIL.
This is not a new policy, just new signs.

COACHES CERTIFICATION
ONLY CERTIFIED COACHES THAT HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE COCOREC DEPARTMENT CAN COACH IN THE COCOREC BASEBALL/SOFTBALL LEAGUE
Coaches will be responsible for taking this certification "on-line" at NAYS.org. The fee for this certification is $25.00, which can also be paid on-line. Each year every coach MUST be certified.
After completing the online course, all coaches are required to forward a receipt from the online program to the Recreation Department. Must be completed and forwarded by March 1, 2012
Background checks are also required. Simply go to http://www.ncsisafe.com and click on "Background Check Screening Self Registration" on the left side of the webpage. Complete three easy steps: Must be completed and verified by March 1, 2012.
Step 1: Enter self registration number 94687451
Step 2: Enter your information as required
Step 3: Provide legal authorization and certification
